Hi all! And welcome to the NEW and IMPROVED (hopefully) blog for myself!! I'm still working on the theming (very indecisive right now) but I also wanted to make a quick blog post to tell you guys what I've been up to!!
Vast Error Volume 6
That's right. It's here. You no longer have to cry silently to yourself as you sleep. The Vast Error Music Team has released Vast Error Volume 6! You can check it out here. While my contribution is small, it's still worth checking out the whole album!! The whole team did an amazing job and I'm so proud of the work they put into it. I collaborated with Rainy on the track Cure For What Ails You (which you can find an upload of it here) and it was such a blast!! Please support the team and give it your full attention. It's full of bangers and rizz. (is that what the kids say now?...)
Which brings me to...
The Future of dbnet18 Neocities
You may have noticed that the site looks a LOT different now. I recently updated the site back in late November to fit a more minimalistic and easier on the eyes theme. I did enjoy the theme that was here, but over time it started to look tackier and tackier and not really representative of what I wanted in a website on Neocities. So it's been changed to the current theme that was originally made by itinerae! (she also made the image that's the current background of the blog!) A lot of the site still needs some work, but it works to a point to where you can find me on my major platforms and keep up to date here! Stay tuned for future updates!!
My Future Involvement in Homestuck
TLDR: I'm taking a small break from a lot of the projects I've been involved in to focus on my own personal life and well-being.

Alright here's the longer explanation you can skip if you want: I've been in the Homestuck community for the better part of 10 years. While I love everything and everyone I have met, it's getting hard for me to maintain the same output of music I could do back in 2017/2018. So, for my own sanity, I've decided to go on a small hiatus from Vast Error and many other projects I've been a part of on MSPFA and such. I'm not leaving the team or really leaving behind Homestuck, as it's been a huge part of my life and my musical career, but I'm focusing more on my personal life.
There's no drama, no bad breakup or anything catastrophic happening behind the scenes. I'm just busier now then when I started to contribute to Vast Error in 2017. I have a full time job, part time college classes, and volunteer work to do for a local charity I'm involved in and help run in my local community. I'm very glad and satisfied that I could contribute so much to Vast Error, and I will contribute more to Vast Error when I can give my energy to it in the future. But for now, there are other things that have taken my time...
The Other Projects
Okay yeah there's other stuff that I'm working on too. Firstly, if you've been following me awhile, you may have heard me talk about a few different projects. There's two I can share, and one I can't. I'll dive into them real quick:
Stardust: OMEGA / Starlight
Yes. It's still a thing.
For those not in the loop, this has been my life's project. This is a little RPG game I've been developing on and off since 2014, and while I have been bust I've also been exploring different concepts and mediums that fit into it's universe. For example, did you know there was a Chapter 0/Prologue that was written and scrapped in 2015 called The Star Children? Now you do. And I'm working on a small project that'll bring it to life as a mini series here on the website! The first part is coming in 2026-2027 so stay tuned!!
Deltarune: VESSEL
I'm a big fan of Deltarune as well (surprise, I know), and I've recently wanted to explore this one concept that hasn't been explored yet: what the actual hell is The Vessel/Cage/GONERMAKER? Well this is where Deltarune: Vessel comes in! This is a fan game made in the Kristal engine using LUA/LOVE that explores this concept. It's currently in pre-development/early prototype, so stay tune! In the meantime, here's a snippet of a song currently in the works for it...

The Future
All in all, 2026 might be a slower year for uploads and posting all things considered. Being involved in so many personal things that are important to me has kind of shifted my focus away from music/development and more into my studies, community, career, family, friends, and health.
I'm not going away and I'm thankful for everyone who has supported me this far. Trust me, if you hang in for the ride, you'll be rewarded.
And you'll love every second of it.
